Easy to understand instructions. Requires only a basic ability to wire up. Provides the perfect ambiance - on at dusk off at dawn. Ever have to think about it. Just keep the swich on. These and any wall sconce variety of outdoor lighting, however, requires a flat mounting surface for the easiest installation. When mounting on hardy plank or other shiplap siding, however, you have to fiddle with the mounting plate to let out the top enough to compensate for the angle of the shiplap board. Otherwise you have a light that is not straight up and down. A suggestion to the manufacturer: you have a great, attractive looking product, but it would help increase your market if you could make the light fixture flexible enough from the attached receptacle box, so it could be adjusted to straight up and down for considerable number of customers who have siding like mine.
