I could have sworn I had already left a review for this product starting with 3 stars. 1 of the lights didn't last 20 minutes. I let several weeks go by and contacted the the manufacturer via it's website. My hopes were that this "US Based Company" would stand by their product. I informed SunCo via their website and was contacted back much to my surprise. I provided a link to my purchase here on Amazon and the company came through, sending me a replacement! Thank you Sunco!i bought 4 and expect to buy at least 1 moreIf you're mounting these flush against the ceiling, save yourself some frustration and use some wide velcro strips. This is much easier than messing with sheetrock anchors and screws.I have 9 of these in a 900 square foot garage. Lights up like daytime.These LED lights work great for a basement and they are easy to install. You will not be disappointed.I had purchased Sunco lights for my garage a couple of years ago and they have worked flawlessly so I bought these to add lighting. Should work as well.These lights are super lightweight, EASY to install, and very bright. I was shocked at the brightness!After searching and searching and reading review after review I went with Sunco. I bought two of the four pack fixtures that each come assembled with two exposed bulbs (meaning no plastic cover for them. I replaced the old style florescent fixtures with ballast and let me tell you.....pleasantly surprised. First they are not nearly as heavy which is good from hanging off the chains, but the S hooks that mount to the lights make it unbalanced front to back because of mounting directly in the center if the light on each end but can be dealt with. The next positive is NO MORE NOISE/HUMMING and the lights turn on to full brightness INSTANTLY!! And speaking of brightness.....WOW....at least twice as bright as the florescent!! Probably won't even install the other four but save for that rainy day once longevity says hello! Lol.....overall great buy! Love the fact they can be linked together as well along with opposite end of light having pull string to choose which ones come on or off with wall switch thru the ceiling plugs.My first set of LED units from LZHome (similar price) had more of a reflector above and around the bulbs.Also the other brand felt firmer and more ridgid, these are very thin and flimsy feeling.Given a choice I woud go with the other brand.These light fixtures replaced a few of my fluorescents. They were lightweight and very easy to install with the plug-in feature. Also much brighter when compared to a standard 2 tube, 4 foot fluorescent fixture not to mention quieter and more efficient. I like that they come with a pull chain on-off switch. Would purchase again.Liked the lighting the area is crystal clear and the garage door when up doesn't impede with angle the light delivers. Boxes say should not be hard wired I'm also hard headed and fabricated brackets and covers that allowed this without complication. The wires are held in cord right so had to get creative as to how they were stripped but not being new to wiring made this not so bad either once understanding what I was into ... overall solid lights would recommend and will probably pick up another 4.Love the crisp but not too bright light from these and the price is outstanding, my only concern is how long they will last, when I read the add for them it said 7 year warranty in the box it says 2?These lights performed Beyond expectations were very easy to connect to one another and light up my garage wonderfully I would highly recommend these lights
