Amazing light, we rebuilt the boat house and put them in two rows lenthwise. As there are no windows in a boat house we needed light and these are great, in fact I think we only used 4 as they were so bright so we have 2 more for another spot. Very easy to installBought a pkg of 6 for my basement to replace fluorescent lighting. They arrived quickly and 5 of them put out a great light but not blinding because they are frosted. Sadly 1 did not work for some reason. The sellor worked with me and we quickly came to a satisfactory solution. Garage lighting just may be the next project for me.Pakage arrived on time by UPS who usually takes good care of packages. This one arrived in perfect shape which from experience longer packages and this one at 8ft long are susceptible to damage. I opened the box and for a minute thought that I had just been sent light tubes. I pulled one out and wow these are a slender profile. It was a whole complete light. Very light weight which makes putting up overhead much easier. The clips were plentiful and enough to use 4 per light in a package of 6 lights. I purchased a separate cord to link two together since my lights were spaced 10 ft apart. I hard wred mine and found that one of the hardwire pigtails had a manufacturing defect in side the plug where excess plastic interfered witht the pin pushing into the plug. Not a problem with any of the other ones and since I'm only using two for now will deal with that later...or maybe not at all if I choose an alternate way to hook them up. Good light from these, not too excessive but a good illumination. Clips seem flimsy but once they are locked into the light the fixture is really secure. One note about the hardwire harness. The directions only point out that there is a ground ..white with yellow stripe..and two other wires that are both white. Listed as live and neutral (hot and neutral) the directions point to both wires and say to hook them up to hot OR neutral. Saw another reviewer mention this and say that he must have guessed right on which was which. Actually since this a double row of LEDs I suspect that it doesn't matter. The power goes down one row and back on the other one doesn't matter which one then there must be a return wire internally to make it exit out the other end. Installed these in a 10 ft greenhouse and very pleased with purchaseThese 8ft LED lights are great, and I'm please that my kill-o-watt meter shows they draw about 43 Watts rather than the 70 W the specification states. I hardwired in 4 of the lights to my garage replacing two florescent tube fixtures. The garage is much brighter, and I'm pleased. I'm using one LED light as a task light about my workbench. The switchable power chords included in the package are about 4 ft, and too short for a ceiling installation to reach the wall power outlets. I use an 8 ft grounded extension chord and a switchable power strip at the workbench to shut off the task light. I wish there was an option to buy single 12 ft switched chords to make the task light approach feasible.I'm so pleased with the brightness, I installed the 6th LED in my Covid office to replace the 3 lamps that didn't provide nearly enough room brightness,I purchased these lights to install in a new workshop. I installed three rows of lights, each containing four light fixtures. Installation was very easy, requiring just a few basic tools. One of the features that prompted me to buy these particular lights was the ability to connect up to six lights in series. Others I had looked at limited me to a maximum of three or four lights in a series after which I was warned lights could fail resulting from excessive heat buildup in the light circuitry. Each package contains more than enough cords, connectors and accessories to satisfy practically any install requirements.Another reason I selected these particular lights was the brightness. At 7000 lumens I found nothing available that was brighter. For a workshop, they illuminate the space wonderfully.Additionally, I had a couple of questions and their customer service was thorough and prompt.I highly recommend these lights and would not hesitate to purchase them or any other products in the futureThese 8ft LED strips are great overall!Pros: bright, easy to install, price, light coverageCon: build quality, customer service, included connectorsBought the JESLED 6pack 8ft 5000k LED for the garage. Package arrived early in a sturdy hard cardboard box. No damage to the box. Unboxed all lights and hardware. Tested each of the 6 lights with the 1 supplied power cord. Sparks shooting out of one light. The other 5 work as they should. Contacted customer service, was offered partial refund for the 1 light, I declined the offer. Asked if they can send out a new power cord instead. Was told yes, I just have to buy it and then they will refund it. I declined that as well.I actually took apart the non-working light and discovered one of the leads was cut (most likely from the factory when stripping the leads during assembly) and the copper wire was touching the aluminum channel. Which tried to ground out shooting sparks and burning a hole in the aluminum channel. I cut, stripped, reconnected, heat-shrunk the leads and reassembled the light, plugged in and is now working correctly.Definitely CHECK the lights functionality BEFORE installation. Do not use the supplied screws (too short) the supplied hardwire pigtails are very short as well. The supplied power cord that has a switch DOES NOT turn power to the LED completely off.Customer service has asked me 3 times to write a review so there you go.
