I'm using this in my temporary (winter) porch. There's under a half second delay before it turns on. Doesn't turn on unless it actually gets dark, first.This is my 3rd purchase. I did receive one bulb (out of 12, total) that malfunctioned, in that it would spontaneously turn on without any motion present. I contacted the vendor directly and they responded right away. Although there were some communications issues (with email getting through on a timely basis), replacement was made. Happy with the customer service.
